MAAC has a dedicated team that works all year round to organize events.
These events provide an opportunity for students to showcase their skills & to interact with experienced professionals from the animation, VFX, gaming, and media & entertainment industry.
The training and knowledge gained from these events helps students become job-ready by the time they complete their course.
Every year, MAAC organizes a number of events at various locations across the country:
100 hours - Creative Marathon is a filmmaking competition at MAAC where participants create short 3D animated films in a time span of 100 hours only. They work non-stop during these 100 Hours to finish their project.
MAAC 24 FPS is the most prestigious awards function in the animation and visual effects segment held across the Indian sub-continent and beyond.
The idea behind the event is to encourage animation and VFX students from all over India to come together and participate in creative & technical seminars, workshops, case studies, panel discussions and different fun activities.
MAAC organises guided nature and wildlife expeditions for students in scenic locales like Coorg, Sariska National Park, Ranthambore National Park, Matheran and Amboli.
An initiative by MAAC that comprises Online Master Classes where renowned experts from the Animation and VFX industry deliver lectures and enlighten students on latest tools and techniques used in the industry.
