MAAC students pay tribute to Babasaheb Ambedkar

And that is exactly what MAAC students of Indiranagar (Bangalore) centre achieved recently.

On the occasion of the 125th birth anniversary of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, MAAC students made a short film on the life & teaching of the architect of the Indian constitution called ‘Dr. B.R. Ambedkar – Jewel in India’s Crown’.

Students utilised their knowledge & learning to make this three minute motion graphic film under the guidance of Ravi Kiran (technical faculty, MAAC Indiranagar), and Amit Dang (MAAC zonal academics head – South).

The film was released on April 16, 2016 in Bangalore during an event organized by Bangalore Political Action Committee (BPAC) at UB City Mall, Bangalore. The film was screened in the presence of Padmashree Mohan Das Pai (vice chairman, BPAC), Harish Bijoor (brand consultant), actor Prakash Belwadi, and other dignitaries.

Paying tribute to Babasaheb, Shajan Samuel, senior VP, MAAC, spoke about the relevance of his ideals in the current times. He also spoke about the effort made by the students to research & create a motion graphic film to commemorate Dr. Ambedkar’s contributions to the current social structure.
