Once again we're back with the greatest extravaganza of animation talent - The 24fps Animation Awards 2006-07. Instituted and Organized by Maya Academy of Advanced Cinematics in 2003, the 24fps Animation Awards has grown to become a premier event celebrating animation talent and high quality computer generated content from India and abroad.
An initiative to bring forth fresh animation talent on the same platform as experts and stalwarts from the industry, our objective is to identify, showcase and reward creativity from all corners of India and beyond. Over the last few years, this event has gained momentous support from the animation and computer graphics fraternity and has been a key driver and promoter of fresh animation talent in the country. Over the years, the number of participants has grown from a mere 35 in 2003 to over 200 last year. In addition to student animators, the event also aims at showcasing premier animation work from various national and international animation studios and professionals.
